- Planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality, student-centred lessons (Grades 7–9)
- Providing holistic guidance and support to students in their academic, social and personal development
- Working closely with parents, colleagues, school leadership and internal support services
- Assessing and documenting students’ learning progress
- Actively contributing to school life, including projects, events and school development initiatives
- Participating in pedagogical teams and working groups
- Ensuring compliance with and implementation of the school’s guidelines and quality standards
Subject Teacher for Grades 7–9 (72% position)
Your tasks:
Combination of subjects:
- Economics, Work and Household (Grade 7) – 1 periods per week
- Spaces, Times, Societies (Immersion language: English) (Grades 7–8) – 4 periods per week
- Science & Technology (Immersion language: English) (Grades 7–9) – 5 periods per week
- Learning Coach / Advisory (Grades 7–9) – 6 periods per week
Your profile:
- EDK-recognised teaching qualification for lower secondary education (Sek I)
- Valid Swiss residence permit
- Excellent German language skills
- Good command of English (Cambridge C1 preferred)
- Previous experience as a homeroom or class teacher is an advantage
- Passion for supporting students in their academic, social and personal development
- Strong pedagogical skills, high level of social competence and a respectful yet consistent leadership approach
- Interest in innovative teaching methods and openness to school development initiatives
- Team-oriented, flexible and willing to actively contribute to daily school life
- High level of commitment and strong organisational skills
